US Naval Academy 1951-1955. Played on Navy football team that won the 1955 Sugar Bowl over Mississippi . Played on the 1955 College All-Star team beating the Cleveland Browns. Naval aviator and fighter pilot, made 224 carrier landings. Chief of Staff for the Commander of the 7th Fleet – 1974. Served in the Navy until 1990.
