Post high school Mark became a collegiate athlete for the University of Wisconsin Badgers. In his time he was a 2 time captain becoming 1 of 15 to ever accomplish this in their 133 year history. He also was recognized All Big Ten Conference honorable mention in 2004 and 2006. Mark was a 37 game starter totaling 236 tackles, 29 tackles for loss, 8 sacks, and 2 interceptions. Following his college career, Mark signed with the New York Jets following the 2007 NFL Draft.
